Liverpool manager Jurgen Clop praised Mohamed Salah for standing on the ground during his record season in the Premier League. The 25-year-old Egyptian national scored 32 goals in the campaign. Salah set a new record in England on goals scored after he was 31. Achievement was held by Luis Suarez, Alan Shearer and Cristiano Ronaldo.
“The last few weeks have been really hard for him, imagine that everyone tells you how brilliant you are, and not only that, they’re giving you an Oscar, giving you a reward after a reward, and I thought they might give him a reward, “He is still a young boy and I am very pleased with how he is doing,” said Jurgen Clop.
Salah scored 44 goals in 51 games in all of the tournaments this season and will have the chance to score even more when Liverpool will face Real Madrid in the Champions League final on May 26th in Kiev.
