Chelsea plans to take Juventus defender Daniele Rougny in line, Italian media say. “The Blues” are still negotiating with Napoli’s leadership on the release of coach Maurizio Sari, who is highly wanted by London owner Roman Abramovich.
If Sari heads Chelsea, he will want to attract Rougini into his squad. The two of them worked together in the team of Empoli, as Sari was the coach who gave the Italian defender a chance to break into professional football.
Chelsea’s leadership has already prepared a 35m-euro bid for Rougini to try to tempt Juventus. The defender has already negotiated his personal conditions with Londoners and is expected to receive 3.5m euros per season.
