Real will raise Cristiano’s salary, but they will not extend his contract

Real Madrid’s management has begun negotiations for a new contract between megastar Cristiano Ronaldo and the details are expected to be finalized before the World Cup this summer. Club Chief Executive José Ángel Sanchez has already notified the 33-year-old Portuguese about Florentino Perez’s desire for the two countries to sign a new contract with improved conditions.

Ronaldo himself appreciates Real’s efforts for a new contract with which the player’s salary will be raised from 21 to 30 million euros a season and this will bring him closer to Neamar’s salary in the PSG, which is 35 million. Cristiano Ronaldo’s current contract with Real expires in the summer of 2021, and the new contract does not provide for an extension.
