Spain’s Valencia boasts a strong squad. A four-year contract with “bats” was signed by the scout leader of the Italian Grand Prix Juventus Pablo Longoria. He held this post at the “bianconers” from 2015 onwards, with his primary responsibility being to find prospective players up to 20 years of age. He also worked for Sassuolo and Atalanta in Serie A.
In Valencia, his functions will be similar, and he will head a scouting and analysis department specifically designed for him, with the idea of renewing Valencia’s structure.
The “bats” perform well this season in the Primera Liga, running fourth in the standings with 49 points, while the third Real Madrid has only two more. At the top is Barcelona with 65.
