Arsenal has limited the list of Wenger’s successors to five

The list of potential candidates for Arsene Wenger’s position in Arsenal is now reduced to five, according to media in the UK. According to Mirès, Luis Enrique has already dropped out due to his big financial demands. Patrick Vieira, Michel Arteta, Massimiliano Allegi, Joachim Loew and Leonardo Jardim remain in the battle.

The Daily Mail also claims Enrike is still in the game, although his salary is not in line with the leadership of Emirates. The name of Monaco’s mentor is missing from the list here.

Both sources are unanimous that Arsenal’s bosses want to brace a young specialist, and the likelihood that someone from Vieira and Arteta will be appointed is not small. Hoffenheim’s 30-year-old mentor, Julian Nagelsman, also has strong positions on the Emirates, but he is not part of the list as he has decided to stay for at least another season in Germany.

Interestingly, Jürgen Clop’s assistant in Liverpool – Zeljko Lucic, who was recently one of the bookmakers’ favorites for the post, is not on the lists.
