Atletico Madrid president Enrique Serreso said the club is not interested in Juventus star Paulo Diballa. In recent weeks, there have been reports of a possible transfer of the Argentine to Wanda Metropolitano. They were backed by the Madrid meeting between the striker and Diego Simeone.

“DiBalla is a great footballer, but I do not know him, I only saw him once in the game against Real Madrid a few days ago,” Serreso said. “Simeone has explained it all – they’ve seen each other in a restaurant, and they’ve just greeted nothing more,” added the boss to the mats.

According to the media, however, Atletico is actually considering making a bid for DiBalla, which could replace Antoine Griezman if the French move to Barcelona.
